Pixie Hollow, Anaheim

Pixie Hollow is a whimsical corner of Disneyland Park where the world of Disney fairies takes physical form, transforming storybook imagination into a playful woodland setting where magic feels just within reach.

Located inside Disneyland Park near Sleeping Beauty Castle and the pathways that connect Fantasyland with Adventureland, Pixie Hollow invites guests to step into a miniature world inspired by the forests of Never Land. The entrance narrows and the scenery shifts immediately: oversized flowers bloom along the path, twisting vines climb around wooden railings, and glowing lanterns hang gently from tree branches overhead. The design cleverly shrinks the human world to fairy scale, making visitors feel as if they have wandered into a secret glen where Tinker Bell and her fairy friends might appear at any moment. Soft water features trickle nearby while colorful vegetation surrounds the winding queue, creating a calm, storybook atmosphere tucked within one of the busiest areas of Disneyland.

Pixie Hollow draws its inspiration from Disney's long-standing mythology surrounding Tinker Bell and the larger fairy universe introduced through Peter Pan and later expanded in the Disney Fairies franchise.

Tinker Bell first appeared in Walt Disney's 1953 animated film Peter Pan, quickly becoming one of the studio's most recognizable characters. Over time, the mischievous fairy evolved into a cultural icon representing imagination, magic, and the whimsical side of Disney storytelling. The later Disney Fairies films expanded her world by introducing additional fairy characters, each representing different talents tied to nature, water, light, animals, and seasonal magic. Pixie Hollow was created to bring that expanded mythology into Disneyland itself, offering a setting where guests could interact with these characters in an environment that feels distinctly separate from the rest of the park. The landscaping and architecture intentionally emphasize scale and immersion, with oversized plant life and glowing details that make the area feel like a hidden forest sanctuary inside the kingdom.

Pixie Hollow works best as a gentle pause while moving between the surrounding lands of Disneyland Park.

After passing beneath the towering spires of Sleeping Beauty Castle, wander toward the shaded pathway that leads into the hollow and allow the bustling energy of the park to soften for a moment. The winding garden path slows the pace naturally as glowing lanterns, oversized leaves, and playful fairy details reveal themselves one by one along the trail. When you step back out toward the nearby castle courtyard, the illusion lingers quietly behind you like a secret forest hidden in the middle of the kingdom.
