Triple Milano is best known for giving Riccardo Berenato's Brewberry beer project a permanent home and joining it to his longstanding passion for basketball. Berenato founded Brewberry in 2017 as a brewing consultancy after leaving La Ribalta, initially developing recipes for other projects and producing One Hundred and Season Dragon under his own name. Triple followed in June 2018, and its name carried a deliberate double meaning: the Belgian monastic tripel style on one side, basketball's three-point shot on the other, a sport Berenato had played at a high level. Brewberry quickly moved beyond the taproom through beer events; in 2019 it helped select more than fifty Italian and international breweries for the inaugural Malto International Beer Expo at Unipol Arena, an event encompassing more than 250 beers, and it also participated in the development of Milan's MASH Festival.
